EOMEONIM

“EOMEONIM” is a short, speculative fiction manga using excerpts from my own adoption papers to build a visual story of my birth parents. Each panel varies in its mediums from traditional black and white inking, hand-carved woodblock prints, wood engraving, watercolor, and more.

This project was a cumulation of my love for anime and manga, my passion for exploring a variety processes as a multidisciplinary artist, as well as an exploration of my own identity as a Korean-American adoptee.
